All Livingston Lures are activated by water. The eyelets holding the hooks act as contact points. When the lure touches water, it completes the circuit between the eyelets, activating the lure. You can simulate this by touching both eyelets simultaneously. Bring the lure close to your ear (not too close) to hear the sound of distressed Shad, crawfish, and other sought-after forage fish. The sound is indicated on the package near the UPC code. If no sound is indicated, the lure emits the EBS Original distressed Shad sound. While it may sound like a chirp to us, to a predator, it's a dinner bell.
