The Mooselook Wobbler was designed by John A. Greene in 1938 on Lake Mooselookmeguntic in Maine, from which it gets its name. A favorite in the Northeast, especially in the lake regions of New England and Canada, this classic trout and salmon spoon has proven itself for over 70 years. It’s effective for all game fish. Fish the proven Mooselook action at various speeds. Match baitfish profiles using the Wobbler Midget, Junior, Medium, or Large models, and experiment with different colors to find the winning combination.

The classic Mooselook Wobbler features genuine silver, 24 ct gold, or copper finishes, except for color #02 mirror chrome, which remains available for traditionalists. Genuine silver offers superior reflection quality compared to nickel and chrome finishes, reflecting light farther and deeper for better visibility.

In addition to mirror finishes, hammered versions are available in copper, genuine silver, and 24 ct gold with color accents. The hammered finish provides more surface area and reflection, realistically imitating fish scales. The “Midget” is ideal for light-line trolling or sinking fly lines and can also be used in river currents or for trolling in summer or winter for trout and other species. It’s also highly effective when used behind a dodger, flasher, or wobbling spoon — for example, a Williams Wabler W50 or W60 with the hooks removed.
