While maintaining the specific actions of EVx Musky rods, we have upgraded them with Okuma UFR (Unidirectional Fiber Reinforcement) technology. These rods still boast powerful and responsive 24-Ton carbon blanks. The incorporation of UFR technology, however, introduces a significant enhancement. By adding a layer of unidirectional fiber to the tip section, UFR technology provides a remarkable 3X increase in strength and lifting power. This reinforcement fortifies the tip against breakage during heavy casting or when dealing with large pike and musky near the boat.

Additionally, EVx B-Series Musky rods feature upgraded rod guides. The new guide system showcases Sea Guide double-foot, deep-press stainless steel guide frames. The tip guide is equipped with Sea Guide’s “RS” ring, renowned for its unparalleled hardness and durability. Designed to accommodate braided lines, this guide system offers a sturdy foundation and extended service life.
